energy taxes affected by tariffs

Maine energy costs go up

The Reddit post discusses a 25% increase in electricity exports from Ontario to the United States in response to U.S. trade policies under former President Trump. However, the post was removed by the moderators of the r/Maine subreddit for not being directly related to Maine. Some users still mentioned that while the issue is not directly linked to Maine, New Brunswick, which is closer to Maine, plays a significant role in electricity imports for the state.

the only unionized province

Their statement is so phony.

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/amazon-exits-quebec-operations-cut-170124669.html

"""The online retailer will phase out operations across seven sites in the province — the only location in Canada with unionized Amazon employees — over the next ..."""

There will be no savings to customers.  This is solely being used to fight unions, and make more profits.  There is no reduction of prices coming to the customers of this province.

If anything I expect the cost to be pushed to the consumer via delivery charges, or increased prime membership costs.

Your life will soon be a subscription.

scathing, but true

"""America’s rapid descent into an impoverished nation has had a catastrophic consequence which is completely unseen. Americans don’t trust one another. They live in a society without social bonds. Sometimes, this rears its head in obvious ways...."
