these surveys are so stupid

Where do they get data like this? Who's only paying $300 a month for child care? Especially those who have to have infants cared for. This surveys are wildly out of touch with reality

Costs for day care and preschools ran higher than headline inflation in March, but parents have been struggling with this issue for years.

Children Should Not Be Here

#AmplifytheChildren Benefit Concert

At this moment, children are being subjected to illegal neglect and abuse in our nation's Border Patrol facilities. #AmplifytheChildren is a national initiative to bring the direct sworn testimony of these children, taken in June 2019, to more Americans: to amplify their voices, tell their stories, and elevate the truth.

Chicago's new musical theatre community is responding, as part of #AmplifytheChildren, by creating new music based on the children's testimony and presenting in this one-night concert. 100% of ticket receipts and any additional donations raised will be split between the non-profits Latinos Progresando in Chicago and Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) at the border.

Composers include Masi Asare, J. Seb Fabal, Liz Falstreau, Robert Frost, Ben Kaye, David Kornfeld, Heidi Joosten, John Leo, Megan Piccochi, Annabelle Revak, Leo Schwartz, Laura Stratford, Vi Tran, and Benjamin Walton.

Performers include Bridget Adams-King, Hana Christenson, Emma Couling, Emily Cox, Jasmine Delgado, J. Seb Fabal, Khloe Janel, Jacqui Jaurena, Mariah Larios, Marko McRae, Whitney Rhodes, Jacob Watson, Sally Wippman, and Melanie Vitaterna.
